By order of the Governor of Virginia, students will not be returning to school for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. With that being said, just because the building is closed doesn't mean learning will stop!

Weekly choice boards will be posted on our Fifth Grade Virtual Learning Website

Ryan Rusk

Hello All!

My name is Ryan Rusk and I am currently in my fourth year at Yorkshire Elementary School teaching 5th grade. I have been a teacher for 11 years all together and have enjoyed going back and forth between 5th and 6th grades in Nottoway County, Fairfax County, and now "home" in Prince William County. I attended Prince William County Schools myself, spending time at McAullife Elementary School, Saunders Middle School, and Hylton High School. I then graduated in 2009 from Longwood University with a degree in Pk-8 Education with a concentration in Natural and Social Sciences. I then graduated from Liberty University in 2014 with a degree in Marriage and Family Counseling.

I am so excited to have each and every one of you in my classroom. Though this year is different, we are ALWAYS in this together.

If you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year, please do not hesitate to email or use class dojo. If you have not yet signed up for class dojo, please let me know and I would be happy to help you get access to our class page.
