Welcome back to another exciting school-year. We are so pleased to begin this year in our new home, with so many returning and new faces. The school has been cleaned and polished, the classrooms are all set up, and the staff can’t wait to greet our students for the first day.

 

Congratulations to all of the girls on a great season and a great race! Thirty-nine of our Yorkshire girls along with a buddy completed the 5k race at the Reston Town Center on Saturday, December 5. Over 6,000 people participated in the race. Despite the rainy start, the snow was awesome! From all the girls' smiling faces, it appeared everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed catching snowflakes in their mouths. Thanks to all who supported the girls throughout the season and to those of you who braved the weather and came out to the race. Yorkshire Elementary is proud to announce that it will be offering parent/guardian registration on our SchoolFusion website (this website) for the 2009-2010 school year.  Registration on our website allows parents to access classroom webpages as well as other school information not available to unregistered users.  Due to upgrades in our online system, all users must obtain an authorization letter in person from the office in order to register on this Web site under “New User Registration.”  You must bring a photo ID. 

Important:  You can pick up your authorization letter which will have a student "passcode" in the office starting October 5th.  After receiving the letter, go to the school’s Web site and register by clicking on the left button “New User Registration”.  Fill out the online registration form and enter your student’s ID number and “passcode” for each of your children in PWCS schools.
